Working with foundations is hard work, even the most talented team needs help to complete heavy or complex tasks. That’s the reason why, in the industry, we have machinery that helps us with large-scale projects. Today we are going to talk about some of the most common ones we use and their function.
1.Concrete batching plant
Starting with one of the most important equipment for any job with concrete, a concrete plant is an equipment that combine various ingredients to form concrete, is have a variety of parts and accessories including mixers, cement batchers, aggregate batchers, conveyors, radial stackers, aggregate bins, cement bins, heaters among others. Depending on whether a central mixer is used, Concrete plants can be divided into dry mix plants and wet mixing plants.

2. Concrete pump
This one of the most save-time equipment in the industry, is used for transferring liquid concrete from the production to the casting area by pumping. This pump system faces many challenges because the characteristics of the concrete make it a difficult material to transport.

3. Concrete mixing transport trucks
A familiar face not only for workers in the industry, these trucks made the work to mix concrete and transport it. A mixer truck has a drum in his back that contains the mix. They have many benefits as they can be charged with dry materials and water, with the mixing occurring during transport, or they can also be loaded from a central mix plant keeping the material in a liquid state.

4. Concrete Vibrator
This concrete tool produces stronger concrete by vigorously shaking the concrete right after you pour it to eliminate the air bubbles or air pockets that can ruin the integrity of concrete. Without a concrete vibrator, concrete structures can cave in or break apart more easily.

5. Paver Machine
This piece of construction equipment used to lay asphalt concrete or Portland cement concrete. It lays the material flat and provides minor compaction.

These are just a few of the machines used in construction that make our work easier, and are part of our day to day.
