Walmart – Richmond, Texas

This project involved the construction of an 11,000 SF reinforced slab-on-grade addition for a Walmart facility, supported by a combination of spread footings and continuous footings. The slab was constructed to meet strict floor flatness and levelness requirements, critical for retail and equipment performance standards. The scope also included 3,500 SF of site access sidewalks, as well as a freezer slab and cooler slab. The freezer slab was constructed using specialized insulation boards with a specific R-value, designed to ensure long-term thermal performance and protect against frost-related subgrade issues. This project showcases our ability to deliver technically demanding concrete work for high-traffic retail environments, with a focus on precision, durability, and compliance with strict construction tolerances.
