POINTS TO KNOW IF THE CONCRETE SHOULD BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED.

As the years go by, we see that the concrete of our structures begin to take small cracks or imperfections and this is normal, it is due to the time of creation and conditions. Most people fix these imperfections, but is that always the best option? Concrete can be repaired and maintained, but it is not always the solution, many times it must be replaced in certain areas or in its entirety.

We will leave you with some questions you should ask yourself when you see these imperfections in your buildings and that will help you to know if you should replace or repair your foundation.

Keep scrolling down!

1. How old is the concrete in your home or business?

According to experts, the life expectancy of a concrete driveway is 25 years, so if yours is 25 years old, it’s probably not worth trying to repair the cracks. The best option is to replace the concrete to get a new foundation and save a few pennies over the years.

2. Are the cracks small in time?

The age and size of the cracks is a key point. If your foundation is not so old and the cracks are relatively thin, you can have them repaired, you don’t need to replace the foundation, but if your case is contrary to this, it is best to call the experts to verify if the condition of your foundation requires replacement or repair.

You have to be very attentive with your concrete floors! Without action, it can become a major problem. In order to save time and money, consider these questions regarding the concrete in your building.
